IBMT In Person CPD and Supervision Event
We ran this event in October 2025 for a small group and had some great feedback (see below), so wanted to offer it again. Our hope is that this enables graduates to develop their skills and confidence, share and inspire each other, as they bring IBMT into their communities.
Join peers and colleagues for 2 days of supervision for Diploma Graduates and those completed all modules and working on their case study.
- bring supervisory questions for exploration and reflection, from your practice, case study or somatic projects.
- Explore themes together in embodied and creative ways to give insight, understanding and ways forward.
- reconnect with IBMT principles, to refresh and rejuvenate.
- learn from others, share feedback and nurture supportive links with peers and colleagues.
- explore approaches that you can apply in self supervision.
- Time to move and reconnect with your somatic selves.
The basic format for each day would be:
- Gather together.
- Guided Movement to Arrive
- Check in
- Gathering Supervision Questions participants bring and creating an agenda.
- A number of Supervision Exploration Sessions.

Feedback from Oct 2025
The free flow, that evolved with the needs of the group and felt very ‘IBMT in action’ as we morphed and found what was truly alive. It was lovely to be held in a supportive process of embodied engagement.Since returning home I have reached out to an IBMT supervisor and am moving forward with regular client work. I have also subscribed to a somatic publication to support me ‘walking my walk’

I loved the embodied creativity of the whole weekend, from our first morning when we decided what aspects of our work we wanted to explore, discovering common themes with other practitioners aswell as opening up to new enquiries. Paul’s embodied creative approach was like a breath of fresh air and each enquiry brought new insights effortlessly and playfully. I think the insights I harvested from the enquiries will continue to gently unfold over time, they have helped me to see myself more clearly as practitioner, to describe my work more clearly (which always feels like a challenge!). I’ve come away feeling more grounded and confident in my role as a somatic practitioner and sense that has come from spending time with peers exploring our professional practices which have IBMT as a common thread.
I left feeling relaxed, refreshed, rejuvenated and enriched by reconnecting with people that I had trained with but not seen in years!

It was a great weekend and I hope there will be another one soon. I definitely got some insights around work with a particular client, together with Inspiration to get back to developing my website, and walking my walk!

I’d love if this continues to be organized. it helps me have a more open mind in creative approaches I can use in my research. It gave me an idea of how to manage with my own research difficulties creatively. I feel refreshed.
