An Introduction to Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy
These workshops offer an introduction to the ISMETA registered Diploma in Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy. They include elements of material in relation to Infant Movement Development, Embodied Anatomy, Somatic Psychology and Authentic Movement, which are the foundations of the IBMT training programme.
Join us to get a flavour of the IBMT approach. Learn about yourself as you take some time to pay attention to your body. Discover some frameworks that help us understand how we move and how we feel.
A foundation for personal and professional development, and an introduction to a broad, deep and relevant training for those interested in well-being rooted in the body. Attending one of our introductions is also a pre-requisite if you haven’t worked with us before and are intending to join the Diploma training in Sept 2025.
The day will include guided movement explorations, mark making, touch and sharing experience with others.

Please bring:
- wear clothes that you are comfortable to move in, including layers for warmth.
- Notebook/writing materials.

Cost per workshop: £65.00 Early Bird Rate. £80 Full Rate if paid less than 6 weeks before the workshop date:
- early bird available until 28th Dec 2024 for Feb 2025 workshop,
- until 15th Feb 2025 for Mar 2025 Workshop,
- and until 27 April 2025 for June 2025 workshop.
