An Introduction to Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy
These workshops offer an introduction to the ISMETA registered Diploma in Integrative Bodywork & Movement Therapy. They include elements of material in relation to Infant Movement Development, Embodied Anatomy, Somatic Psychology and Authentic Movement, which are the foundations of the IBMT training programme.
Join us to get a flavour of the IBMT approach. Learn about yourself as you take some time to pay attention to your body. Discover some frameworks that help us understand how we move and how we feel.
A foundation for personal and professional development, and an introduction to a broad, deep and relevant training for those interested in well-being rooted in the body. Attending one of our introductions is also a pre-requisite if you haven’t worked with us before and are intending to join the Diploma training in 2026.
The day will include guided movement explorations, mark making, touch and sharing experience with others.

Please bring:
- wear clothes that you are comfortable to move in, including layers for warmth.

Time: 9.45am for 10am-5pm
Cost per workshop: £65.00 Early Bird Rate. £80 Full Rate if paid less than 8 weeks before the workshop date. Early Bird Rates end on:
- 28 Feb 2026 for the 26 April 2026 Workshop
- 3 April 2026 for the 30 May 2026 Workshop

Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy (on Booking Form)
To secure your place please send a non-refundable deposit of £30. Or the full fee of £65.00 early bird rate, when paid in full 8 weeks before workshop. Or £80 full rate. Any balance must be paid 4 weeks before the date of the workshop.
If you wish to cancel you can do this up to 4 weeks before the workshop. In the event of needing to cancel it is possible transfer to another workshop. This requires a £10 admin fee. The new workshop date must be booked within 12 months from the date of your payment.
Please note: After 4 weeks before the workshop date, all fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
